Floor lights extend their lifespan
1. Reduce current output
By adjusting the current sampling resistor in the circuit (usually a small resistor within 10 ohms), increasing the resistance appropriately can reduce the current of the LED beads, thereby reducing heat generation and extending their lifespan. For example, replacing a 2 ohm resistor with 3 ohms, but it should be noted that the brightness will decrease accordingly
2. Moisture prevention and cleaning
Moisture proof treatment: Wet environments can easily cause circuit oxidation, so it is necessary to ensure the sealing of lighting fixtures. Moisture proof lampshades should be installed in areas such as bathrooms.
Regular dust removal: Clean the lampshade with a dry cloth or soft bristled brush to avoid dust accumulation that affects heat dissipation and brightness.
3. Avoid frequent switching
The current at the moment of starting the lamp is relatively high, and frequent switching will accelerate the aging of the filament. Suggest reducing unnecessary switch operations.
4. Proper installation and maintenance
During installation, follow the instructions to avoid structural changes or incorrect installation of components.
Non metallic lighting fixtures can be cleaned with a damp cloth, while metal parts need to be wiped with a dry cloth to prevent rust and corrosion.
5. Environmental control
Maintain environmental humidity between 40% -60%, and strengthen ventilation or use dehumidification equipment in high temperature and high humidity environments.
